Bio

My primary research objective is to genetically engineer both bacteria and marine invertebrates to better understand how microbes influence eukaryotic development during critical life stage transitions like metamorphosis. I have specific interests in immune gene regulatory networks that allow bacteria to influence development in a beneficial way.
