House (Chair), SDSU<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. Angelica Riestra, SDSU<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. Parag Katira, SDSU<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. David Schlaepfer, UCSD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. Karl Willert, UCSD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Abstract<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">High-grade serous ovarian cancer&nbsp; initially responds to chemotherapy but frequently relapses with chemoresistant disease, potentially driven by cancer stem-like cells (CSCs) that share many attributes with conventional stem cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TWEAK\u2013Fn14\u2013NF-\u03baB signaling regulates integrin \u03b1V\u03b23 expression on CD117\u207a ovarian CSCs, with RelA promoting ITGAV and RelB promoting ITGB3 expression, indicating roles for classical and alternative NF-\u03baB signaling.
